Description:

This is an overall Barbarossa scenario, all the objectives were taken from the Black Turn campaign, and the OOB was based off War in the East rather than the Black Turn campaign.

Because of the massive size of the scenario, I've set it as Multiplayer. The AI takes minutes to move a single unit because of the vast number of units as well as the vastness of the map. I've tested it with a friend and it was pretty fun.

Comments:

  • I've tried this as a single-player game. I have 1tb ssd drive and 16Gb of ram, so I hoped to be able to run it single-player, but no luck. I make my moves on the 1st turn, then wait for the AI to move the Russians. The computer moves fairly quickly the first 15 units (the last being into Velikiye Luki) and then all movement stops. After a wait of about 5 minutes, the program quits with an error message. I've appended the crash.log file. It seems to indicate a memory error, so I ran Memtest64, but it reports my RAM is OK.

    Anyone have any suggestions? I don't mind the long wait for the AI to complete a move, as long as it does complete them.
