Description:
Fictional scenario in which Operation Uranus was a failure and Stavka resorts to an all-or-nothing attempt to force the Germans away from Stalingrad.
This is also the first mission in a new campaign I'm building, which will have different versions/scenarios depending on your level of success in prior missions.
I'll be making the follow-up scenario for Chronos, regardless, but please voice interest if you want to see more than that.
Comments:
I like this one. Very challenging against a human opponent. I think a VP local in the city should be used to create a failed hold for the Germans. Thank you.

We playtested this scenario in our ongoing tournament on Steam. http://steamcommunity.com/app/218090/discussions/0/535151589889340074/?tscn=1447024973#c490124466459682259

Oh, and it's always nice when there's an option to spend prestige on a few reinforcements or extra Steps.
I liked it!
I got a Decisive Victory on my first try. I like how on the first turn there's no clear path to victory, instead, like the best scenarios in Red Turn, you have to work with inferior Soviet units and target weak points.
Funny enough, rather than being encircled, the Axis center collapses as they retreat to reinforce the flanks - which is prudent, but might not be realistic, considering Hitler's obsession with Stalingrad. Perhaps put a victory point in Stalingrad or an AI hint to defend Stalingrad?

I look forward to more of these!
Grudge;
THANKS! These are some excellent UoC problems that I will be playing with for quite some time! Not a reflection of the historical realities-but some great and challenging gaming!
