-I would like to know whether units keep earned experience from one scenario to the next.
-Same question regarding losses. Does it matter or not whether I do my best to keep my units in good shape rather than push them to the brink of destruction ? -Should I need to reinforce weakened units in order to keep them useful for the next scenario of the campaign ?
I just reached 2nd scenario of the Stalingrad Campaign and was surprised to see that all units had 0 XP at start.
Campaign
Re: Campaign
No, and no. There is no carryover of anything (except prestige) in the original Unity of Command. All the battles are basically self-contained, stand-alone fights.
Re: Campaign
Thank you.
It seems weird to expect that units may level up in short scenarii and still be fit for combat.
Neither do I understand why the game encourages heavy losses the Germans could not afford in order to race against the clock.
A campaign but only in name then.
