Bravado!
A Micro-Campaign about the Greco-Italian War from the Italian perspective.
A 2-3 mission campaign starting from the Italian declaration of war and ending with Maria. This is a collection of the scenarios I added to the workshop, but now combined into a functional micro-campaign.
How to Install:
1) Follow this link to the Workshop Page
2) Subscribe to the mod and it will download
3) Open the game and select 'New Game'
4) Enjoy the campaign!
Current Plans:
- Add Greek counter attack as a stand-alone scenario
- Add Invasion of Albania as a jumping off point
- Iterate on scenario polish
- Add a historic 'Operation Spring' scenario
- Bug Fix
Maybe Plans:
- Modify card terms to be more in line with the Italians
- Add Milestones
- Fix the Campaign Map to make it more accurate
- Other scenarios for Italian Offensives around Europe

This looks awesome. I won't have time to try it out until the next DLC hits the shelf... But I'm looking forward to it!

So should we expect an invitation to a crusade eastward in the near future?
BTW, excellent work this Greco-Italian war

Excellent mini-campaign! Any chance Steam workshop could handle user made campaigns? This needs more exposure.
One step specialist nations could really use some artillery in their engineer steps. They're quite useless compared to the bersaglieri here.

Sadly the workshop, from what I can tell, doesn't support anything other than scenarios. I'm gonna modify my scenarios to show that this exists, but really it's kinda hard to promote.

Hopefully, the devs will implement easier addition of the user made campaigns to the game

@Gonefishing: I have tried uploading your campaign to the workshop. This is what I did:
This works out OK, and I can subscribe and download the mod. However, when I try to run it I get the following error:
To get it to work, I put 2418688798 which is the steam "published file ID" back into campaign_render.patch.yml and campaign_view.patch.yml:
After that I prep again (step 1 above) to update the mod on Steam. Finally, I unsubscribe and resubscribe the workshop item, otherwise Steam does not download the updates at all.
And that's it, the mod works!
I will try to add some code in the future versions that gets around this step, but for the moment this is the workaround.
Cheers!
Code: Select all
./prep.exe steam_ws_upload Italian_Mod --title bravado --description Italian Campaign Mod --visibility 0

Thanks, took me a bit too long to figure out how to use command prompt, but the mod seems to be uploaded correctly.
I stumbled into a guide on steam that gave similar advice, so it seems I just didn't do my research.
Re: Bravado - A Greco-Italian War Micro-Campaign (Beta)
I play on a Mac, so wanted to report in. I tried to figure out where to place the downloadable file you provided here, but could not get it to show up in the new game area. I perhaps didn't place it properly, but feel confident that I did. HOWEVER, after I scrolled on down the forum to see that it had been put into the Steam Workshop, I went there and was able to apply it to my game. I did relaunch the game, hit "new game" and voila...there it is. I didn't start a new game to see about its stability, but at least the campaign shows up there. Thank you for making it.
Those are the types of investigations regarding WW2 that I think really should be developed. Old timers like myself have played the traditional major campaigns multiple times (not complaining...very happy for UoC2 to be able to have another go), but other ancillary theaters like this one deserve development. I'd love to see a Spain Civil War campaign, as another example.
