I like very much the editor added to Unity of Command, this is the first scenario made to test the editor.
in the beta01 there is only 1 Obj (Kharkov).
in the beta02 there are 3 Obj (Kharkov, Izyum and Belgorod)
Every feedback is appreciated.
Thanks "Ante" for the hint that helped me to understand how work the AI in the first version.

Re: [SC] 1st Kharkov (oct. 1941)
I like this scenario, but the AI was a bit passive on my first try. Let's see how it goes when I try again. BTW, did the Germans have any tank units in this battle historically? Having only infantry means you can't get to the objectives very quickly. This makes taking the second and third objecitve (Belgorod and Izium) pretty hard.
Re: [SC] 1st Kharkov (oct. 1941)
the scenario is full historical, the 6th and 17th german army had no tank unit but with
the help of 88mm a/a and the slow, confused and uncoordinated soviet defence can take
Kharkov with heavy soviet loss of men and materials. But the russian are good student and
soon learned from the germans the art of war.

Great map, Nikdav. Yeah, they slowly learned in the aftermath of Stalingrad and turned the German Blitzkrieg strategy against them (under their own name "Deep Strike"). BTW, the Russians had the best tanks besides the Germans because they had trained together and built up their militaries together before WW2, 'cause the Soviets hadn't signed the Versailles Pact, which was kind of a loophole for the German Forces to build up Armored units. This started years before the Nazis took power, in 1926. It simply was a bad decision to attack the Soviets in spite of the Non-Aggression pact.

Look at the part about the Soviet Union there.

Thanks for this nice scenario. This map is interesting to play and it is not so easy.

Hi,
Here are few comments after few games :
- the Red Army never tries to capture the "17e Armée HQ" wich is an enemy objective :
- a Soviet division always captures the supply source in the West of the map. It is useless because Poltava is a Supply Source.
- the Soviets Units are a bit passives
This scenario could become great with a bit of tuning

Thanks Lalose !
I am working on a new revision of both scenarios.
- The supply on Poltava was already eliminated in beta 01
- the soviet unit historically adopt a passive defence, the germans run too fast and coordinated for the Soviet command.
- i used the 17 Armee HQ for a PvP version of the scen.

Interesting scenario. There's currently too much mud for me to get to Izyum, particularly as you need to pull back the units in the east for them to be in supply. The Soviets are also overstrength, as by UoC's scale 7 steps is a full strength Rifle corps. A full strength Rifle division would be, on a non-linear scale, 4 to 5 steps at best.
