Astrakhan
Re: Astrakhan
Gents:
I played my first PvP game (Astrakhan) and achieved a Russian victory!
I captured the Axis supply depot south of Stalingrad on Turn #1... and it took my opponent (John) 3 turns to recapture it... and get his supply lines sorted out. By that time, he faced a pretty solid line of dug in Soviet infantry and cavalry screens... and was only able to close within 5 klicks of the objective by game end!
Good fun!
John and I have started a new PvP game - Case Blue. I've taken the Russian side. I like the look of this scenario - especially the theater assets - partisans!
Really glad to have been introduced to this "gem" of a game!
