Re: [RT] Spring Awakening

Originally, I thought about making a scenario going from the start of Spring Awakening to the fall of Vienna, but considering the limited number of hexes between the German starting positions and Vienna, I didn't think it could work. The actual, historical, Spring Awakening would only cover a couple...

Re: Red Turn NOW AVAILABLE

In all honesty: though the map includes parts of Scandinavia and Western Europe, they don't have the terrain, rail lines or cities they should have. They're just clear hexes on the map at the moment.

Re: Red Turn NOW AVAILABLE

The main problem with modelling it would be that the Soviets would, for a historical advance, just advance a couple of hexes (counted from their pre-summer 1944 advance north of Leningrad) to get to the line they reached. If I had the room from a bit north of Leningrad to about Viipuri, than it woul...

Re: AI should try harder to recapture supply centres

We initially had more supply sources in the central portion of the maps and not just on the map edges, but after a discussion most of those were removed. I can always add them again later. I agree that the AI isn't good at recapturing its supply sources, just like at the moment it isn't great at rel...

Re: New rules with the 1.04 version and DLC

The manual addendum didn't make it into the initial release because we sort of had to hurry to compile the final version. I've attached the work in progress version. Short answer: the changes mentioned in the blog are in. No idea if you can get negative prestige, however. I'm guessing you can't disb...

Re: Setting Weather in the Editor

The weather function is there so you can check the, more or less, average weather for a turn. The actual weather is saved in a separate data file and can't be changed using the editor.

Re: Editor Docs

I've created sort of a temporary manual. It's something I typed to help out Trey and it's really work in progress. Earlier, I typed a manual addendum about the changes to gameplay mechanics (also explained in a blog entry on this website) which will be incorporated in the future manual. Both files a...

Re: Red Turn NOW AVAILABLE

We're still thinking about ways to add scenarios featuring the Finns. The Soviet attack that knocked Finland out of the war in two main phases is too small to cover in my opinion as it would require two different small scenarios, but a Finnish scenario in 1941 is quite possible somewhere in the futu...

Re: Red Turn DLC - BETA TESTER CALLUP

Looking good :) Except the Volks-Grenadiers could use some love... & The VG infantry is very ugly it would be more realistic a desperate man without helmet and with a white blooded bend around the head. The problem was that there wasn't a lot to work with. Contrary to what you imply, the averag...

Re: The Post-release Thread

The motorized Italian division was actually even smaller than a regular Italian infantry division and not really an impressive formation. Its combat strength was comparable to roughly a heavily reinforced regiment.
