Re: Structure
Sorry for the late response. To start, UoC's mod folder file path should be: AppData\Local\.uoc2\_packages\ Here you should add your mod folder. Inside your mod folder you'll need 3 things: \data\entity_types\unit_types This is where your unit file should be in. \assets\models This is where your uni...

Re: create custom Unit?
Hey, I was having problems myself earlier. The previous thread should help.

Re: Ruhr Assault Army Unit Balancing
Interesting points, really would like a spreadsheet of each army's divisions by each mission to better visualize the transfers. Personally I would have thought with a better performance the polish 4th infantry division could have appeared since they received from more POWs much like how the 2nd poli...

Re: Error creating a 3D assets mod
That I already am familiar with. I got a few units added like the 31st Indian armoured division or British 61st (light) division made. I wanted a Cromwell for the British 7th armoured in Europe since they exclusively used Cromwells instead of Shermans as their battle tank. Now that I understand thin...

Re: Error creating a 3D assets mod
As it turns out, I was missing assimp.dll and MSVCR110.dll files. After downloading and installing Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4 things finally worked! Thank you for your help, I really wouldn't have figured out things if you didn't point out what the issue was each step...

Re: Error creating a 3D assets mod
It appears the problem is this. yet checking I do have the file in the folder path. WAR Could not find module 'D:\Games\steamapps\common\Unity of Command 2\lib\pyassimp\assimp.dll' (or one of its dependencies). Try using the full path with constructor syntax. Traceback (most recent call last): File ...

Re: Error creating a 3D assets mod
No problem, I wouldn't assuming you'd be on this forums to check frequently.
From your response it might be due to me using a shortcut. I'm not familiar with cmd so I assumed it had to do with shortcuts. I tried clicking the prep.exe but that ends up closing right after opening.

Re: Error creating a 3D assets mod
It did indeed help and you were right with the .obj. If I name it anything but can_arm_43, I get this error: ... At least the model made it into the game thanks to your help ;) . Sorry to respond, but could you possible help me as I'm having my own problem since you've seem like you managed to get ...

Taifun BV - Finally!
Damn this scenario took almost 3 hours, but this was so very much worth it.
