Re: Stalingrad?
To me personally, Soviet operations in the "third period of the war" would be most interesting too, precisely because they are not covered extensively in other games. It's like the movie runs until maybe Kursk and then... fast forward to the Battle of Berlin.

Re: Astrakhan
Oh well, you're really picking apart some dirty designer secrets now :-) It would be nice, if the unit gets stuck in a ZOC and then subsequently overruns whoever exerted that ZOC, that the unit gets released (i.e. its AP is unlocked). Sounds natural. But I can't do that because I don't know for sure...

Re: Astrakhan
Hm... I'm pretty sure there's no bug in something that basic. It could be either that the unit's AP is locked (grey thunderbolt) or there's a ZOC in the hex you're trying to enter. You can't enter ZOCs on extended movement at all. Of course, if it's a bug I'd love to hear about it. But please check ...

I thought about the prestige limit too, but I hate complicating the mechanics unnecessarily. What about making the specialists cheaper?

Re: Orel/Bryansk
OK, I've taken a look at how you played it now. Nothing gamey whatsoever.. what are partisans for if not harrasing supply lines??!? Normally the AI would detect partisans threatening its supply line and dispatch one of the hungarian units to clear it. But since you placed your partisans one hex furt...

Re: Kuibyshev
Let me just explain this right-edge-of-map annoyance, even if I can't fix it atm. The problem is I did the whole "create map from GIS" thing before we decided what the interface will be like, and it didn't occur to me at the time that we might need the extra space there. Hopefully t...

Re: Race for Rostov
Yep, interesting... ante and I talked about that this morning precisely. It's nice to see players come up with things we never thought about.

Re: Orel/Bryansk
You sure are powering ahead... :-) Brilliant victory should be difficult but possible in this scenario, we tested. I also think it's ok for this to be difficult: historically, the Soviets got nowhere with this operation. Their only real breakthrough was in fact towards the southwestern objective in ...

Yeah we can with some tweaking... it's not an intentional restriction or anything, just not a use case we considered.

Re: Little Saturn
Umph, regular players won't be able to load this - you can't reload a single saved scenario from a campaign as a regular scenario.
