I've finally cracked AG South. I quickly figured out that all 4 German tank divisions should go to Rovno right away, and that you need to have a unit next to the Lvov square to cap it on turn 2. My problem was taking Mogilev-Podolsky on turn 5 (got it on turn 6 at best), and I've finally figured out...

I'll give a little hint here: The shortest route to Pskov does not go via Riga... This tip wins the thread. I've been trying to BV this map for days, and essentially had the same problem as the OP: I only managed to take Pskov on turn 7. So, I followed the tip, and directed all of my mobile forces ...

Yay, can't wait for the term to end to grab this one. Question: does the campaign map span all over the Eastern Front with the Red Turn? I'm thinking about some scenario ideas, but they're too far north for the vanilla game. Suggestion: as a possible direction for further DLCs, look for Soviet-Japan...

I wonder why this scenario isn't in this section. Definitely not because it's easy, since when I first started the Soviet campaign, I would spend hours trying to complete it and still squeeze out a measly 210 points in the end (not even a DV!), taking all objectives on turn 2 seemed insane and a bad...

Successfully set up the game on Ubuntu 12.04 on my old laptop. No problems at all, although I do have to use the 'sdl-fullscreen' thingy, since otherwise the game window doesn't resize to fit the screen and the desktop bars remain on top.
