Interesting, there is probably an overall 'tooltip' or popup control in options, as well as being able to turn off each type (Air remaining, Units to deploy, etc) when they pop up.

I got the popup to add engineering to most of my HQs at the start of the last conference, that was on Easy .

Entrench retained during river crossing
Hi,
On Colmar Pocket, moved across the Rhine using the River Crossing HQ ability. It retained entrenchment 'trenches' on the unit, as well as it's action/attack option. Trench is also on the unit card in top right.
Then moved tank unit into the gap afterward.

In Dragoon scenario as part of VitW campaign, clicking on the 'kill the Panzer Div' secondary objective.
Immediate crash & error, 2nd added image is 2nd trial, so very replicatable.
Replaced settings.yml file, restarted, same issue.

I absolutely agree and use this tactic constantly, especially in the scenarios where you have a huge mob of catchup or extraneous sludge following your primary units. Slower to remove a specialist and re-add it later on. Faster to simply reinforce specialist-equipped units every turn with a frothy m...
