Moscow41

Congratulations! I think this is by far the best DLC yet. I love the fact that the enemy is so aggressive in the first three scenarios. Having replayed them multiple times - they play out with much more variability than other scenarios in previous campaigns. UOC2 at it worst feels like a puzzle agai...

Barbarossa

Just wanted to say thanks for an amazing campaign. The best yet - especially on second replay. Gates of Moscow was a particular highlight. And in general it is nice to see the AI attack more. Excited for the 1942 campaign. PS I hope you are planning on re-releasing all the DLC together in a grand ca...

Investigating different difficulty settings

I have played this game far too much! And to spice it up I have been playing around with different custom difficult sections via editing the game files. Some really interesting variations that emerge that drive a lot of replay value: 1. "Game mode" Drop replacement XP penalties by 50% for ...

Re: Blitzkrieg DLC Historical Path - Thoughts & Suggestions

Agree with much if this. Two thoughts: 1. If there were to be a "Barbarossa DLC" it would be great to export the units from Blitzkrieg so that it acted as one super long campaign. That would mean that many units that were only two scenarios in Blitzkreig would reappear later so one would h...

Blitzkrieg DLC thoughts

Amazing game. Brilliant work. The battles show such care and attention. My guess is you spent longer on each scenario than in the base game and it shows. The alternate paths are a great mix. Congrats. Really impressive attention to detail throughout. Things to improve: 1. For you guys: Marketing: Yo...

Re: My thoughts on Unthinkable

Good comments and I agree on the paratrooper cheese. I disagree however on it being too big. The real beauty of UOC 2 is that it can scale from tiny scenarios to vast ones. For instance in a hypothetical DLC it would be great to have lots of tiny scenarios doing an axis defence of Italy versus a gar...

Re: Expand on the "conference" concept

Brilliant and super detailed suggestions! Just to pile on I do think a more emotive connection to both armies and units would really next a great game to the next level. There is a real trade off between allowing customization by the player vs historical accuracy and you see this in decisions other ...

Wacht am Rhein

Fantastic scenario. Nice and complex with real trade offs between going for different routes. Two thoughts: 1. It is great playing the Germans with only one attachment. It makes the units more specialized and hence more interesting. The 'King Tiger' unit becomes a unique queen on the chessboard and ...

Feedback on UOC 2 as a business

As a fan I am looking forward to not only the German DLC but years of DLC's. I hope to fight the Burma campaign and other obscurities one day. To this end I need this game to sell lots of copies so it is rational for the developers to spend lots of time on it. I think the games is intrinsically good...
