Can't say if it's been getting worse, but I did feel that Classic was already pretty hard when I first tried it.

But in Market Garden that lets you cheese the scenario by dropping tons of airborne guys up at Arnhem, grabbing all the objectives on like turn 2 or 3, and then hitting END scenario even though you haven't even linked up the Arnhem bridgehead with the Brits coming to relieve them. Hi- some of the extra paratroops are given out when you take the other objectives. So you'll use starting paras to drop on sites that award more so you can run a chain of airborne drops.

That may be true if Greyhounds are attached to armor, but not infantry. With a more powerful specialist I can do attacks where nobody is lost. I wouldn't say I don't use 'em but it's just too fragile for widespread use. A good use is Recon/Artillery/Artillery so I can soften up other units and avoid...
