Re: Two questions about UOC II
I will mod UOC II when I will buy a 64 bits PC 8-) But at this time, I just mod UOC I. I am working on a special 3D Nato counter mod (based on Gatto nato counter mod 2.0) + adding heavy mech arty, siberian soviet troops, Guard soviet units, Azul division, French waffen ss units, etc : I founded a g...

Re: Two questions about UOC II
I've yet to use any mod for UoC2, not sure the value.
I would like to see an in game system for importing user made scenarios.

Re: Bonus Rewards and "Chess Game"
But what I would much prefer to see is, we must take Target A (say center of map); then you have the option to take either Target B (north of map) or Target C (south of map), but you can't take both because your forces aren't strong enough - moving north will mean you're not moving south. This give...

Re: Bonus Rewards and "Chess Game"
Random locations that you're not expected to take are fine - take if you can, if not, no worries. And I like this game's balance of them more than other similar games. Hidden locations are just ridiculous. Like in PZG2, there's one in the Gibraltar Spain campaign. There's no reason for you to go ov...

Bonus Rewards and "Chess Game"
It is often said that UoC1/2 are like a chess game requiring the perfect moves to get all objectives. This has been sited as the primary negative. The Dev response here has been "your not supposed to get all the bonus objectives every time" so its not a chess game, you can win in many ways...

Re: Race Across France help
Those turn 5 Armor units should never be a threat, they don't really have an easy way to get west of Nancy. The problem is often breaching Nancy. The engineer you get from reaching the Moselle should help with that. Honestly the mechanized units on turn 3 should be no match for your air support. As...

Re: Barbarossa DLC carry over?
I think they said this is a feature they wanted. But i got the impression it might be an "after all the DLCs are done" type of thing?

Re: North Africa Campaign DLC
That's an excellent point you make about the current gameplay formula around defensive battles. Defensive tactics were something I've been considering as of late (Like how could a late-war German campaign even be playable?) To an extent Operation Herbstnebl, and the Buldge feel like a defensive sce...

Re: Sickle Stroke Glitch (?)
Yeah the rail is cut because it's going through the "half hex" at the bottom, which is not playable (you can't put a unit in it too). Not ideal design, it's been throwing people off, but it's not a bug wrt/ game rules. I think Daniel is planning to do something to it visually, so it's mor...
