Thanks for Update 11!
The ¨number of scenarios this unit has left¨ indicator completely addresses my complaint.
Also, I´m impressed at how elegant the solution is. Great job!

Re: Campaign Game
In my first campaign, I approached the meta-gaming problem differently. Instead of looking at future scenarios to predict what would be needed, I just stripped as many units as possible of specialist steps, to allow me flexibility in the preparation phase of the next scenario. Then I hit a scenario ...

Re: Campaign Game
All I´ve really figured out are the first two scenarios. Here is a summary: Cannibalize - Recover all steps from this unit. Strip - Recover specialist steps from this unit. Pimp - Reinforce this unit as much as possible. Engineer - Reinforce this unit with at least an engineer and an artillery. Wadi...

Campaign Game
I am very satisfied with the way individual UoC II scenarios play. I find the campaign game needs work, however. The problem is that (at least in the early game), there are more reinforcements to be obtained through meta-gaming than through actual game play. And the meta-gaming is not fun, it is ted...

Re: Random question from new player..
1) The only way to increase HQ command points is through in-scenario promotions. You get promotions by gaining XP with units in range of your HQ, or capturing certain bonus objectives. HQ command points are always offered as an option at promotion time (up to 9 command points), but they always cost ...

Re: Avalanche Harder Since Updates?
I don´t think the difficulty has changed much. On my first play through of Husky back in November (on normal difficulty), the Germans attacked my beachhead on turn 1, destroying one division, reducing another to a single step, and damaging a third. I figured that play through was a write off, but ke...

Re: my campaign at classic lvl
It would be helpful if there was a way to rewind your campaign back to the beginning of any battle, like there was in UoC1.

Re: Volturno Line
I did not have much trouble with Volturno because I had taken the bonus objectives on the previous scenario. However, Cassino, the next scenario, forced me to stop and really learn how to take a fortified position in UoC2. Here´s a summary: Let´s say you want to take a position held by a veteran def...

Re: Unity of command 2 on Linux
I am running the game under Wine on Ubuntu 18.04. The sound does not work, but everything else appears to. I haven´t tried fiddling with things to get the sound working yet. Technical notes: I installed 64 bit Wine 4.19 in PlayOnLinux environment. Wine is configured to emulate Windows 10 (Windows 7 ...
