It would really save a lot of time & frustration if when clicking on HQ to see what reserves are listed - that these reserves be grayed out if they cannot actually be deployed - clicking on every HQ and every unit only to get a loud beep is really annoying

You can try lower graphics settings. Especially on a laptop, the following will lower your GPU load without much visible difference: 1.
