Recon in force change of rule
Recon in force change of rule
After update 13, I noticed when doing recon in force, it now requires your unit to have active AP, meaning if the unit have attacked this turn can no longer do recon in force. This new rule is not written on the UI panel of recon in force, and I think it will make recon in force even more limited. Before the update I really like recon in force and I can use it 2 to 3 times a turn but now I can barely use once in the entire scenario.

Re: Recon in force change of rule
If the unit has a recon specialist then it does not need active AP, if not it needs to be an armored unit with active AP.
You are correct that we changed (fixed) this in Update 13, in the sense that now it works as written originally in the design.
It's possible that this restriction is indeed too much. We will be doing a small Quality-of-live update in relation to recon-in-force anyway, so I have put it on my list to investigate if we can remove this requirement for active AP. The downside of the change would be that it makes the recon specialist somewhat less valuable to the player... we'll take a look, test and think about it.
Cheers!
