The USSR is considered to be a member of the Allies (as opposed to Axis).

The map fontconfig indeed seems to affect loading time.
Something for the developers to look into.

I'm guessing the scenario editor provided with 1.04 of the base game will let you create one.

.usg files should be placed in: %appdata%\Unity of Command\save\
Campaigns in: %appdata%\Unity of Command\save\campaign\
Try saving with another extension (for instance .txt) and rename it to .usg later.
Is the savegame from the same game-version btw?
Could be a version issue..

Steam files are 'scrambled' by default.
But maybe Tomislav can work something out.
Assuming Steam-keys have the same format/algorythm, that is.

If you buy direct, you get a standalone installer, no Internet required.
You won't get a Steam-key though.
Buying direct is always best for Indie-developers.
Valve takes a percentage of profit too, you know.
