Hi, sorry to inform you, the save file is quite corrupted.
Successfully were stored games until Monte Cassino, but lot of campaign general state is from after Overlord. That prevents simple reverting to end of Monte Cassino.
It is theoretically possible to revert campaign to the end of Monte Cassino by running all played actions, but that would require some time to program and test it.

Just for information purposes, where is the saved game stored?

You will find the saves in the subfolder there.
