Unable to start game

Hello,
bought the game today from GameStop but it crashes on start with the following CRASH.log:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "uoc.py", line 98, in <module>
UnicodeEncodeError: 'ascii' codec can't encode character u'\xc4' in position 3: ordinal not in range(128)

times seven.

My OS is Windows 7 64. I have tried reinstallment and installing the 1.03 patch with no change in the error message.

Hi,

please post the full path to where you installed Unity of Command. For example, on my machine it's:

C:\Program Files\Unity of Command

(if you prefer, you can send this information to support at unityofcommand.net)

The path is D:\Äldre Spel\Indie Games\Unity of Command.

Oh wait, is it because of the Ä-letter?

Well OK, glad to be of help, but we should really fix this. I'm looking into it for one of the future versions.
