How do I get this patch? The update function does not work, and the download from matrixgames does not work?

Probably too late for you, but for anyone else passing by:
"Here are the instructions on how to upgrade Unity of Command to the latest available version. Currently, this is version 1.04d or 1.05 (they are identical). You can check which version you are running by going to Main Menu -> Credits. The version number should be at the bottom."
