Pointers for a newb

Hello all! I just started playing the game within the last 2 days. I've managed to make it past the first 2 battles of German and Soviet Campaign. I do admit it took me a while to even get that far. But I think I'm getting the idea of punching holes into enemy lines with armor and then encirclement. Any other tips or suggestions ? I'd really like to make it through each campaign. And I have to say, even losing can be fun, this game really makes you think and analyze every little bit you do.

Yeah, if you're playing the main game Stalingrad campaign, 2nd Kharkov which starts the campaign is actually one of the hardest scenarios. I'd suggest you search the forums for gameplay tips, there's a lot of information available here. Also be sure to get Red Turn if you don't have it yet, it roughly doubles the scenarios available and gives you a new campaign and some great single scenarios.
