As for reverting, I think a sensible option would be the chance to reset to the beginning of each conference.

I'm sorry to say that, but I think that the reason for all this is too easy Cassino scenario, where the capture of Rome isn't particularly demanding (I wrote about it during testsTomislav Uzelac wrote:Yeah, we will be discussing this topic. We don't like fail states either.
We thought most people would go for the historical track, but were proven wrong, I read the forums too

Players think they are so great, so they are taking a risky path, but the truth is this earlier map is too easy for sure
In addition, players waste the ability to play a very good (and historical) 4th Cassino scenario

Just to give myself a pat on the back, I managed to complete both alternative Italian scenarios on the first try! With bonus objectives, except for Pula. I'm glad this choice didn't turn into a Normal difficulty campaign disaster.

Pula is definitely a tricky one, you need some luck with the cards

Re: Going Back - Rush to the Appenies
Thank you!
What's the trick with Pula? I saw you should take it even earlier than Trieste.

I know this thread has been dormant for a while, but I'm just now getting to the game (Mac user and all that). I've hit the conference pre-first ahistorical option in Italy. So, Tomislav, was there a change made? I typically like to play both the historical and the ahistorical. When this was a thing in Panzer General (at least on my iPad), I would just save right at the moment of their version of conference. Is there an option to save the game, maybe a second save state?
