It is slightly different to play against your own code. I always look through prism of testing and possible improvements 
My playing is characterized with very good understanding of mechanics (and use of them), with a lot of careless. That is also a way how AI is implemented With experience it is standard to achieve a standard or decisive victory, but for a better results it is important to plan and play very carefully.
There are very good players on this forum whose playing is very useful for a learning, to us also.
