Attached are my results for my first attempt on Normal. I found blowing through the lines easy once I got the hang of the German units working a little differently. I definitely miss the ability to have more than one Specialist, especially using engineers + artillery in set piece attacks.
Thoughts?

Ahh... don't say it's too easy, it doesn't take much to tip Daniel over into "make it hard af" mode

Re: Wacht Am Rhine AAR
I'm interested to hear how easy/difficult it was to get through to Liege and which route you took?
Also... You are an old-timer... You should be playing on classic my man

I took Liege from the North. It was fairly stubborn, IIRC it took me four turns.
I will play on Classic, I just figured for my first time...

I played on classic and took Antwerp. It is very tempting not to follow the historical path. Maybe strengthen the defense on both sides of Ardennes?
Re: Wacht Am Rhine AAR
If you want the ultimate Watch Am Rhine experience hard difficulty is probably the best. It's a bit easy (in UoC in general) to keep some of your units in very good shape even after a lot of combat, even though in reality armoured forces engaged in this kind of slugfest would be ground down real fast.
