Is there a chart or guide somewhere to know what the various symbols on the unit information "cards" mean? In particular, playing through the various missions to learn the mechanics and have come across a red square on the german units, sometimes hollow, sometimes a number inside, a red arrow is to the left that wraps sideways up and back to the square. Do not believe this is the no retreat symbol, or is it?

Be great if at some point you could hover over all these and receive info.

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

Overall very much enjoying the challenge so far, a campaign is not far off.

Regards,

R.

Hi, I think you want to post in "Unity of Command II" forum, this forum is for the original Unity of Command (2011).

The tooltips are in the works, and you will be able to hover and see the explanations as you suggest. The red arrow on German units is the retreat shift: when a unit takes casualties during a turn it becomes more likely to retreat (probability of retreat increases).

Cheers!

Thank you Tomislav.

Posted late last night, definitely did not notice this was the original version forum :D

Much appreciate the info on the red box/arrow. So much wonderful detail would like to know what everything represents and utilize correctly.

As mentioned previously very much enjoying Unity of Command II; you have put out an excellent product, please keep going!

All the best,
