I think this is a great change. In the past, even as Germans, human wave assaults with infantry were acceptable just to get wins in time. Obviously that was unrealistic because Germany couldn't afford those losses.

I wonder though, will it be the same format of "attack X in Y turns" or will there be more varied/dynamic scenarios, like defending or dynamic/changing objectives or more strategic options for a more flexible and open-world game for more replayability?

But unit experience like this is a great idea. I can't wait for it.
