Yeah! Good news !

I think it is a good initiative. But usually on Steam, I buying only those games which I can get only there (Day of Defeat etc.).

For UoC, I preferred to buy the game directly from the developer, I respect their work and don't want to put money for Steam if they doesn't helped in any way with the development of the game.

I wonder if it would also be possible if you bought the game on Desura (that's where I bought it months ago because it wasn't on steam).

There is a demo you can play to avoid "blind buying" the game. The developers did great work, there is no reason to way until they lose 50% or 75% of their profit for their work.

Good for you, but how did you do it? I've a copy I purchased at Matrix games when it came out...

I would like to know too.

I got an e-mail from them (check your spam folder!). But all it says is to go to http://redeem.unityofcommand.net/ and enter your product key. Worked for me.

It gives me a "key invalid", using the key I got from gamersgate. But I haven't received any mail, so I guess I have to wait until I get it.
