I'll try to invite some people. Though they will not have prior experience in UoC specifically, just wargame/history enthusiasts. If that's sufficient, that is.

Cool! Just waiting to joint!
Its nice that you started the development of a new dlc, the concept - ai is good and as the base game is solid, i think you will succeed with this piece as well :)

Cheers Thomas,

thanks for applying for the test. I've already playtested all of Pieter's (aka ComradeP) scenarios many times over and I think they're pretty good even in their current state. My current favorite is "Gulf of Riga": the historical attempt by the Soviets to cut off the retreat route of Army Group North right after Bagration.

We will start soon, our release on Steam sort of messed up our schedule but obviously it had to be done ;)

To other people reading this, there is still time to apply. The number of people who applied is curiously still under 50. I say curiously, because at the same time we're having a rather splendid time of selling the game both here on the site and on Steam. :?: We also had something like 350 people apply to test the original game back when noone knew anything about us whatsoever. Go figure...

People are clearly busy playing it, Tomislav ;)

I will throw my hat in the ring for the DLC Beta testing. I have Beta testing experience - last two games beta tested was Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy from battlefront.com and Slitherine/Matrix's Panzer Corps.

If you are interested in having more beta testers, that is. ;)

Sincerely,

I would like to join testing.
Would be gratifying, if I could help you prevent the bugs that pestered the previous version like multi-disband on last turn, or crash-upon-specialization.
Are there plans to allow adding specialist step on the first turn without making it suppressed?

Yes we are, thanks for applying. We're still somewhat below 50 as reported earlier.

In addition to Steam, we also released a Linux version in the meantime (to support Steam-on-Linux that came out this Tuesday). So it was one distraction after another right at the most inopportune moment.

If there are any more people interested, please apply. Otherwise, FWIW the DLC is now on the front burner for me. I'm pushing hard to get the beta out the door. :!:

Not for the current DLC, but it's something I intend to do for UoC 2 as part of a more detailed "deployment" phase.

To apply for the test, please send email to testing@ as described in posts above. This will be administered by Pelin, so please apply there to be on his list.

Done. Email sent to the "testing" address with reference to this forum page.

Wishing all you financial success with the game and pending DLC.

I don't mean to be pushy at all, but have there been any reply emails sent? I submitted an application a few weeks ago and haven't heard back since (or am I among the unlucky?)
