Hi,

Crash loading a saved game file (see attached).

Was playing UoC2 campaign when PC bluescreened. After restart, when starting UoC2, it opens up a dialog box with a "cx_Freeze Python error in main script" (see attached screenshot of the stack trace).

Guessing that the saved file is unrecoverable, but would prefer not to lose my progress and start over if possible...

Same error here, same PC specs. Updated UoC2, crashed during play and got this screen on next startup.

Hi, please post your savegames, as we've had some success with recovering them for other people.

Re: the bigger issue of savegames becoming corrupted, we are looking at how to make the game recover from that in the future.

I'm not concerned about recovering a saved game, I'd simply like to be able to play it. Despite re-installs, the cx_freeze: Python error is crashing the game during the splash screen upon startup.

@k-zee: I misunderstood, sorry. In that case, please post your log.txt and clog.txt files. THIS POST explains where to find the files.

One of the mods you're using needs to be updated for Update 11 - as it stands it is crashing the game.

Please unsubscribe the mod and the game should run.

We'll look at how to make this a little harder to crash on our side. Thanks for reporting!

Thank you! Fixed it. I had completely forgotten I subscribed to that mod.
