Hello I am unable to start battles in my campaign as the first scenario is unclickable.

I did read the FAQ in the steam technical support and see that this was a common problem

However the solution of turning off the cursor option in settings did not work and the button is continuing to be unresponsive even after restarting the game.

Hi, did you also try the first solution?

Solution 1: disable tips in XBox Game Bar.
Win+G -> Settings (gear icon) -> uncheck "Show tips when I start a game".

Also, please confirm just to be clear: you are not able to click the "Start Scenario" button?
