Hello all- putting this here in case it's not a bug and just some rule I don't understand.

Playing Market Garden on classic difficulty I managed to link the roads all the way up to Arnhem on turn 2, so on turn 3 all of the three paratroops were in supply at the start of the turn and in HQ range. However none of them were able to entrench. They met all the requirements for it according to the tool tip, so is this just a bug or is there some rule I'm not aware of that disallowed the entrenchment?

Yes, correct, a unit that you want to dig in must:

1. Not move
2. Be in HQ range (and the HQ must have the appropriate upgrade and have enough points ofcourse)
3. Be in supply at start of turn

If all these requirements are met it really should work. At least I cannot reproduce the issue. If you stumble into this problem again, upload your savegame here and we will take a look.
