Playability Requests!

1 please lighten/whiten Turn counts on both the Objectives sheet and and score sheets! These are not visible when playing more than a half meter away on a large screen without increasing UI scale to 200%

2 please add a dot or coloration/brightness/highlight indication to the motor pool and deploy step unit lists to indicate units which could be matched to an on map unit: without an indicator one has to toggle through all units to see which might fit some understrength unit on the map

2 Already exists, if I understand you correctly. Select the HQ, then the force pool. Select a step,or specialist and the game will highlight compatible units.

thanks but two issues with this approach:

1 you have to click through every unit type available in the HQ to see if there are any pairings
2 every time you select a unit and deploy from the deploy step/motor pool list you have to reopen the menu and scan through the remaining units to continue through the list...

yup I agree with #2, some Quality of life improvements could be made there, it's annoying at this moment

I would like the ability to:

- Transfer between comparable HQs, both for reinforcements but also for active units. There is no reason a US division cannot be detached from 1st to 5th Army during a campaign. There is also no reason I can't shift replacement troops from one HQ to another, as long as they are compatible types & equipment (i.e. no transferring US units to British Armies, or vice versa).

- A better way to see all the units assigned to an HQ at once. Perhaps when the HQ is selected then all the units assigned to that HQ light up, while non-assigned turn grey?

i think this is already available in options/settings. I see a perforated line around hq affiliated units when selecting an hq...

Well mate-buddy you are right that unit hq range in options doesn't do this but wrong that the most recent version of the game doesnt clearly identify linked units when selecting an HQ: all my in-range and hq linked units get a perforated circle under them and out-of-range linked units get a large exclamation point....

I was playing last night and I think the original poster was in fact correct. When you select a HQ...

1. A ring around individual units shows ownership to that HQ
2. An exclamation shows out of range
3. A ring around the whole range of the HQ shows range


I do still wish for a way to transfer reserves and units.
