About motorized unit option

So, when HQ gets upgraded to motorized unit, what is the consequence. How much further unit can move then? And for how many turns the ability lasts?

And is there a plan to change the unit design, while motorized. Perhaps add the truck icon, like some German units have it. Normandy landing comes to mind.

From the manual page 32:
motor pool
● unit must be infantry, AP not locked or used
● unit must not be in terrain type inaccessible (X) to mobile units
● unit must not have used the motor pool asset already in this turn
● Effect (valid for 1 turn):
. ○ unit gets +2 MPs in extended move
. ○ unit movement type is temporarily changed to mobile

What do you mean by this? Do you mean when you use Command Points to motorize a unit for a single turn, or when you use a card to motorized a whole army?

If the latter, I too have questions about how long it lasts and what it applies to. It seems some units keep the effect the whole scenario, but others lose it. Also, new units entering the map seem to not get motorized automatically.
