Could 'Delay Enemy Unit' Allow for Earlier Deployments?

In the editor there's an objective that 'delays an enemy unit'. I did some fiddling and you can delay your own units, but you can't make a unit show up faster.
Could you guys modify the code for that objective type to accept negative numbers?
That way a unit could be deployed a number of turns earlier if the player achieves a side objective. I feel like this would allow for some interesting scenarios.
