update 12 Bug : additional steps disappear after unit deployment cancellation

Hi Guys, the game is great and I spent hundreds of hours on it but I realized something goes wrong.
I found this on the Herbtsnebel scenario during a campaign : the special steps I added to a unit during a previous mission simply disappear if a deploy the unit, cancel the action and redeploy.
Easy to reproduce in 3rd turn with airborn divisions 101 and 82 : 3 special steps on first deployment, none after cancellation and new deployment. I assume the game is resetting the unit to its base value as I made a test with a tank division that lost only one special step out of the tree it had.
