Restart or surrender?

Last turn--I know I will lose.
Restart is always my option. Point penalty but I know what to do next time,
Surrender--never tried it. Point penalty? Where do I restart scenario? Don't want to try it a/c I assume I will take a big point/corps loss.

Still only minor complaint about game is map label placement--sometimes above the objective, sometimes directly on. Lots of wasted units attacking the wrong hex.
