Don Offensives

Let's keep only one thread active per scenario. What do you think about a particular scenario. Was it too easy, too hard? Did you win or lose at first? Post descriptions of your brilliant victories and unfortunate defeats here.

This has been my favorite mission so far, because it was so hard for me to get the Brilliant Victory. After ~10 tries, I finally got it, with my last AP of my last tank. Yeah!

I prefer to play German units but this scenario is pretty amazing. Activities in the south tend to develop successfully but north side is a bit demanding.
The next time I'll try to eliminate 232 ID in Voronezh early because they blocking my SL.

Best score so far is 700/800 in Scenario game.

This one is kicking my butt, too. In campaign I've been trying to be stingy with reinforcements, but haven't been successful. My approach has been to eliminate the tank in the south, then race units to capture the bridges. I've been able to capture the bridges in two turns. Then while I strangle the supply route to Veronzeh I throw a bridge across the river near Veronzeh to keep supplies flowing. That strategy has worked for a regular victory, but not good enough for a decisive one. Any. Suggestions?

Finally, after literally 20 tries, I managed a decisive victory on turn 6, which was at least enough to keep my campaign alive. I was reading thru someone's AAR and they mentioned splitting out the armor specialist steps from the infantry and using them to beef up the armor units. That definitely added some much needed punch! I had to use the two SKI units, but ended up with 550/600 points. On to the next battle!

I cannot do it, A decisive victory, already 5 times I got the last city cleared but have not unit to move in anymore. This is getting annoying after 20+ tries. Any help, cheat, whatever......
