Hi,

There was a topic Editing Campaign Replaying Turns, & More Turns. and with this litle [setup] the campaign can make more easy (no need for a Decive or Brilliant victory) or just Harder, only a Brilliant victory for access to the next scenario.

The [Windows only] program ChangeVictoryLevels.exe just a small setup file to overwrite the original campaigns.
And have 3 choices:
"All campaigns needs only a Victory (no Decive or Brilliant)"
"All campaigns have the default Victory level of UoC"
"All campaings needs a Brilliant Victory"

And the option for selection a UoC version:
"Standard UoC install"
"Steam installation of UoC"

The .zip have 3 Folders [Easy/UoC/Hard] with the original and modified campaigns. and the folder _Source the setup script.

Added 2 choices:
Copy the campaign files
Copy the scenario files

Update:1.3
Fix:
Correct the nr of turns of the Brilliant scenarios of "kuibyshev.usc" and "dneper.usc".

The setup only works on windows not mac or linux.

next version:

After making the original version i have made, i realise this can a step futher by modified also the scenarios.

there are now 5 choices:
Victory within 99 turns and 10000 prestige (and without a Decive or Brilliant) Learning.
Victory without a Decive or Brilliant, (default scenarios) Relax.
Default Victory level of UoC UoC.
All campaings needs a Decive Victory (limit the turns to Decive) Decive.
All campaings needs a Brilliant Victory (limit the turns to last objective) Brilliant.

The zip contain a setup [for windows only] and 5 subfolders with the modified campaign/scenarios:
Learning
Relax
UoC
Decive
Brilliant

Update: 1.2
Added 2 choices:

Copy the scenario files

Just downloaded this mod thanks but cannot seem to get it to work - any help please ?

After unzipping the next Folders are visible.

_Source
Brilliant
Decive
Learning
Relax
UoC

and a file named "ChangeVictoryLevels.exe" and this is a modified setup program and replace some specific files of UoC for some modified ones or restore the modified back to the original.

this file run only on Windows but it can also works without it.

The folder _Source contain the definition of "ChangeVictoryLevels.exe"

The other 5 folders are 5 variations/choices of the same files and replace the files of UoC.

Copy 1 of the 5 variations/choices change will change some behaviour of UoC:
1, Learning: Victory within 99 turns and 10000 prestige (and without a Decive or Brilliant).
2, Relax: Victory without a Decive or Brilliant, (default scenarios).
3, UoC: Default Victory level of UoC .
4, Decive: All campaings needs a Decive Victory (limit the turns to Decive).
5, Brilliant: All campaings needs a Brilliant Victory (limit the turns to last objective).

The first 2 choices make the program easier. the last 2 harder. Choice UoC restore to original.

Thanks for this but were do you unzip them to? Is it a specific file re UoC/mods or another place re the main directory?

Unzip can everywhere but the content of one of 5 Folders must copy to the main folder of UoC, this replace the existing scenarios [*.usc] and campaigns [*.usx] files.


campaigns\*.usx -> campaigns\*.usx

dlc\blackturn\campaigns\*.usx -> dlc\blackturn\campaigns\*.usx
dlc\blackturn\scenarios\*.usc -> dlc\blackturn\scenarios\*.usc

dlc\redturn\campaigns\*.usx -> dlc\redturn\campaigns\*.usx
dlc\redturn\scenarios\*.usc -> dlc\redturn\scenarios\*.usc

scenarios\*.usc -> scenarios\*.usc
