Mountain Lion OS 10.8

Is UofC supposed to work with Mountain Lion? I'm getting a message that I need to install X11. Any thoughts on that? Running UofC version 10.3.

It seems that Apple has stopped shipping X11 as part of their default install. We don't really use X11, but indirectly this removed some of the libraries we need (libpng, freetype...).
We will be issuing a new build relatively soon, which will make the issue will go away.
In the meantime, installing X11 should indeed work as a temporary workaround. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Hi there,
just pruchased UoC, as I think any company producing Mac versions of their quality games are worth supporting.
Any news on removing the X11 requirement? It's not a problem for me to install X11 - but I guess less tech savvy users might find it worrying.

I didn't get around to issuing a new build yet.
Right now it looks like it will simply be fixed with the next version (1.04). This is the version that will be required to run the DLC.
One exception is Steam, I've already updated the build there to not require X11.
