Game wont start

As the subject indicates my game does not start. I dont even get an error message and in the directory is no logfile whatsoever. (the newest file is the uoc.exe, i guess because of the betapatch, the other files and directories are from yesterday, when i installed it). It's like there was almost no reaction.
I checked the integrity of the game files and tried to switch to the beta, but it doesn't change a thing. I run Win7 64bit.
