Update as of 4-24-13. There was a Steam update last evening. Not sure what was included, but the white squares vs. readable text has been fixed. I've played portions of the tutorial, but nothing in the campaign, etc. If I have any subsequent issues I'll report them, but right now the initial pc game crash has been resolved.

Game is running great, but it's hard!!
I sure hope you're looking at other WW2 theaters because I really enjoy playing this particular style/complexity type of wargame.
