Odds not showing immediately on mouse hover

Its a graphical thing, the odds won't show up all the time, when I hover over it with my mouse. When they do show up, it usually doesn't show up immediately, or they are a little transparent, showing the background of the previous mini-screen.
Overall lag when selecting units as well. Sometimes it doesn't register that I clicked them.
Frustrating to say the least. Any hotkey or tip? Nothing in the search or on Google.

Hi, is your computer on the low-end of the spec for Unity of Command? The game is software-rendered and this is how that would appear.
One thing that may help in such a case is running the game in a smaller window.

Yeah I run a pretty good setup. Can run Skyrim with no problems.

I'm not sure this is directly comparable (Unity of Command is software-rendered). Still if your computer is reasonably fast, it should not happen.
Does this happen regardless of the scenario you're playing? I've seen some issues where people create enormous scenarios in the scenario editor and then that runs slightly slower for them.
