Re: Map editor?

It is a great pity. I wanted to buy DLC but without the full editor that makes no sense. Create your own maps would extend the life of the game. Think about it. Yeah, but you can use the whole, now even bigger existing map to do scenarios with the scenario editor. BTW, have a look at that blog entr...

Re: Persisting saved games across Computers/Platforms

Actually choosing savegames works only with scenarios. You can also freely save in scenarios as opposed to campaigns. But for a campaign, savegames must be in the campaign folder, and you aren't able to load the campaign unless all savegames that make it up are in one folder. Maybe it works when you...

Re: PvP: Zitadelle

Anyone won in this scenario as the Soviets? Just had another go and again wasn't able to stop the Germans as the Soviet player. It's impossible to do damage to the German tanks without losing more steps in the process. The Soviets really should get some reinforcements in this scenario. Konrad is act...

Re: New Expansion

No, I can assure you that we're not slacking (I've been playing the hell out of the DLC since the beta started), it has other reasons. BTW, I also was in the RT beta, so I know how fast it finished. Look forward to it, it's going to be awesome, probably better than Red Turn!

Re: Don't really like it so far

Bear in mind that specialist attachments can make a huge difference. That will always be represented in the predicted outcome when you are attacking. Yeah, I'd advise to purchase some specialist steps from OKH/Stavka reserve in your first playthroughs, if you assign Engineer or Recon steps to tanks...

Re: Don't really like it so far

We can give you some more tips if you upload a savegame here in this thread. If you're playing a single scenario, go to this folder (just copy and paste into the Windows explorer): %appdata%\Unity of Command\save\ If you're playing a campaign, go here: %appdata%\Unity of Command\save\campaign\ And j...

Re: Suggestions Thread

Undo in Internet multiplayer mode. It's currently impossible to determine combat outcomes (you have to cycle units/try out different units against an enemy with the current system) before a combat, which makes Internet PvP much harder than SP.

Re: Don't really like it so far

Did you maintain your supply lines? If your units are out of supply the attack strenth is diminished. You have to immediately destroy all Soviet units that get onto your supply lines (the rail lines on the map). Check the supply view each turn, and try to advance along rail lines.

Re: PvP: Lower Dniepr (RT)

Would be a cool feature. Other players could watch PvP battles fought by other players when they are finished and post the code in the forums.
