Since campaign has been mentioned already I'd like to ask how will their progress be handled - one of a very few downsides of Unity of Command was campaign progress: starting a new campaign resulted in erasing old campaigns and some missions required really tight deadline to meet in order to progres...

I know they were more numerous and tighly-packed at the border in comparison with Soviet forces, but their veterancy (especially that high and for so many units) is questionable.

I see one big problem with this scenario - Germans have a lot of ELITE(!) reinforcements while Soviets have some infantry, greenhorns and some veterans (2 or 3 with 1-star)... Disparity of forces is so vast that I had little problem blasting away all enemies off the map before taking the objectives....

How do you like HoI3? Can one play it well without having to deal with all the industry and diplomacy? Industry controls what units will be produced and diplomacy in lastest expansion is very important if you want to spread your influence through Asia and/or Central/Eastern Europe. I think HoI3 is ...
