Re: Official Tournament Rules Thread

Fun tournament, thanks to Ritalingamer for hosting it, and congratulations to Kampfgruppe! Regarding screenshots: I posted some of the games I played in this thread. Not familiar with recording gameplay vids myself, but it should be easy with the replay/history function, the game codes (all that wer...

Re: Official Tournament Rules Thread

Thanks to Spillblood for what was more of a challenge than the results suggest. I'd never tried MP before this. I'm going to be out of the frame for about 9 days to a fortnight, perhaps more. Any news from the other semifinal round? Yeah, it was a challenge for both of us. He's a really strong oppo...

Re: Official Tournament Rules Thread

OK, since Stahlgewitter has no time left (his ship is going to sail at 0600), and since he has the upper hand in both games we played (we started two January PvP games after Ritalingamer stated we played the wrong scenario (January Offensive (SP) instead of January PvP (MP) ), I surrendered both gam...

Re: Black Turn: Donbas Nip Strategy?

I'm going to quote myself here, from the beta test part of this forum for Donbas Nip (because you can't view it). I only managed to beat this scenario once yet, and it took me literally months: Actually a good way is to remove the first Russian line of defense from north to south (on the front facin...

Re: Is it possible to switch sides in single player?

It's not possible unfortunately, currently the only way to play the other side is to play against yourself in hotseat. You can do this with every scenario in all campaigns (provided you have the DLC they're in). If you have the Black Turn DLC you can try the last two scenarios, Lake Ladoga and espec...

Re: Official Tournament Rules Thread

I'd be up to it, but it'd be best if we'd play two games at once like I did in the previous round with Reanimator, because that would take less time. Would you be willing, Stahlgewitter?

Re: Official Tournament Rules Thread

The second game against Stahlgewitter ended on turn 9/12 with me surrendering. Game code was LfDbhQ. Final Soviet score was 350/900. Spillblood vs Stahlgewitter: Game code: LfDbhQ Stahlgewitter: Soviets, Spillblood: Axis Outcome: Axis Surrender in turn 9/12 (loss for Spillblood). Soviet Score: 350/9...

Re: Official Tournament Rules Thread

The semi-finals will be played on January Offensives from Black Turn. Same rules as last time: play two games, alternate sides, and post the scores. Whoever scores highest on their turn on offense wins and advances to the finals. OK, didn't get that one. So Stahlgewitter must start the second one.
