The next thing would be to flesh out the Central European map and perhaps do a hypothetical campaign or two involving a hot war beween the Western Allies and Russia. This is a great idea. I'd suggest setting it in the immediate aftermath of WW II, so that the units don't have to be changed too much...

I've recently tried it again through the scenario list (i.e. not through the campaign) and it was still difficult but much easier than I remembered! Actually it's probably easier to get a BV in 8 turns than try and slog it out for the whole 24 turns! Don't try and cross the bridge that leads into th...

Weurgh, I just managed a BV last night. It was quite a phyrric victory - I lost many units and ended up with a single mechanised infantry unit in Stalingrad, cut off and surrounded by a sea of red. If the AI had been a bit more proactive in shifting stronger units to defend the objectives I wouldn't...
