Running with Wine seems to work just fine OTOH, you might want to try that.

I just bought the game yesterday and played for a couple of hours so I might have missed some of these.

The game runs just fine natively under Linux - I develop on Linux in fact. The problem is packaging and dependencies. We are looking into it.
