I'm glad you're appreciating the challenge! It's a hard game, and this campaign very intentionally explores the bitter, grueling fighting that characterized the campaign.
The core AI isn't changed, but the AI can be "steered" in each scenario through a set of designer-specified objectives. In ...

Re: Canadian First Army during Unthinkable?
Great idea!
An opposed Norway '45 operation has been on my list of western front stand-alone scenarios I would like to do - others include the proposed para-drop on Rome, the para-drop on Paris option for Normandy, and Churchill's various plans for liberating Norway in 1941, 1942, 1943...

Re: AI is not subject to ZOC rules
Are you sure you have a ZOC in the relevant hex? ZOCs are not projected by weak units (less than 3 active steps), so if you have a unit with lots of suppression on it, it may not be exerting a ZOC. ZOC is also blocked by some terrain.

Re: Panzerchaos at Paris
Hah, those are awesome screenshots! Sheer chaos, by design. Very pleased to see the AI doing what it is meant to, and seizing one of those critical bridges. And equally glad you managed to pull off what looks to be a highly risky, audacious plan... damn the torpedoes, on land.
Well done sir!

Re: Crete in ONE turn
I did it in 4 turns on classic during design of the game, and thought I was pretty smart. Now I see what real players can do... hats off to you uran! Let's see your best on hard.

Great feedback, thanks!

Re: Blitzkrieg DLC thoughts
Amazing game. Brilliant work. The battles show such care and attention. My guess is you spent longer on each scenario than in the base game and it shows. The alternate paths are a great mix. Congrats. Really impressive attention to detail throughout.

Re: Blitzkrieg DLC thoughts
Congrats Wolfenshtein on getting the initial Fall Braun objectives on time, it's not easy and shows you have a pretty good command of the game!
The final objectives are tough, and it's painful to have to use panzers against a city. Your motorized divisions will have better luck, especially if ...

Very interesting conversation.
