Hi everybody - What format do you, the players, want for the next tournament? The current plan is it will be decided on and run by you. The Unity of Command team will be providing a bracket tracker and the code generation tool for you to use. Would you prefer a round robin tournament, like #2, or an...

Robert Forczyk's Tank Warfare on the Eastern Front 1941-1942: Schwerpunkt

I recently finished this book and, though it wasn't great (very dense, not exceptionally well written) it had some really interesting insights I think would be of interest to fans of Unity of Command. This isn't a full review, but instead just a few selections and interesting anecdotes: On doctrine ...

I'll go with these two: Wages of Destruction by Adam Tooze http://www.amazon.com/The-Wages-Destruction-Breaking-Economy/dp/0143113208 This one is an evaluation of the German war economy in comparison to the other warring nations. It is filled to the brim with very very interesting data and analysis...

Re: Book Suggestions

The Third Reich trilogy by Richard J. Evans is a fantastic read and would recommend it to any WWII enthusiast interested in Nazi Germany. Hitlers U-boats is also another fantastic read if you're interested in U boats, though be warned many call it a dry read, but since U boats are what I predominan...

Here are a few of my favorites: Band of Brothers by Stephen Ambrose - Ambrose has lost a lot of respect over the last decade, because of ...
